We’re excited to send out our first Alumni Newsletter of the year and share some exciting resources and information. Self-Care and Community Care as Variants Emerge As the pandemic continues to present unique challenges to all of our lives, self-care remains as important as ever. So too does community care – or, to put it another way, public health. In a recent article, Dr. Carney weighed in on winter safety strategies in light of the ongoing pandemic and the Omicron variant.

The UVM Professional and Continuing Education (PACE) is hiring!

Professional and Continuing Education (PACE) at the University of Vermont is looking for experienced and qualified candidates to fill a Program Planner position. Responsibilities include: provide program planning and project management for all Public Health (PH) programs within the Larner College of Medicine, and assigned PACE credit and non-credit programs and courses, including online. CDC Public Health Associate Program (PHAP) PHAP is a paid, two-year, competency-based, training program with the CDC for early-career public professionals with little to no public health experience. Students who have graduated within the past two years (bachelors, masters, or doctoral degrees) are eligible to apply. To learn more about this program visit the CDC website.
